Verse 6-38

कच्चिन्नोभयविभ्रष्टश्छिन्नाभ्रमिव नश्यति |

अप्रतिष्ठो महाबाहो विमूढो ब्रह्मण: पथि || 38 ||

“Doesn’t someone with an unsettled mind, lacking faith and deviating from the path of yoga, fail to achieve success in both material and spiritual realms? O mighty-armed Krishna, don’t they perish like a scattered cloud with no place or standing in either domain?”

Commentary: Arjuna further questions whether such an individual, who lacks dedication and consistency in spiritual endeavors, would be deprived of both material and spiritual success. Arjuna compares this person to a broken cloud, indicating that he would have no stable position or accomplishment in either sphere.

The metaphor of a broken cloud represents the lack of stability and position in either sphere, symbolizing the potential loss of success and fulfillment.
