Verse 8-27

नैते सृती पार्थ जानन्योगी मुह्यति कश्चन |

तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु योगयुक्तो भवार्जुन || 27 ||

“O Partha, no yogi who knows these paths is ever deluded. Therefore, always, be engaged in yoga.”

Commentary: Lord Krishna assures Arjuna that a true yogi who possesses the knowledge of the paths described earlier is not bewildered or confused by the cycles of time. Such a yogi remains steadfast and unaffected by the changing circumstances and influences of time. Lord Krishna says “tasmāt sarveṣhu kāleṣhu yoga-yukto bhavārjuna”, an instruction to Arjuna to be “engaged in yoga at all times”. Yoga is the scientific practice of attaining union with the divine, a transformative journey that turns the heart from the love of the visible to the invisible. The yogi maintains a state of inner harmony, balancing spiritual pursuits with worldly responsibilities. Regardless of the external conditions or challenges, the yogi remains centered, focused, and connected to the higher reality. By remaining steadfast in yoga, the yogi transcends the limitations of time and experiences a deeper state of consciousness that is beyond the fluctuations of the external world. This verse serves as a reminder to all seekers of the importance of unwavering commitment to the path of yoga and the continuous cultivation of spiritual awareness in all circumstances.
