Verse 9-13

महात्मानस्तु मां पार्थ दैवीं प्रकृतिमाश्रिता: |

भजन्त्यनन्यमनसो ज्ञात्वा भूतादिमव्ययम् || 13 ||

“But the noble souls, O Partha, take refuge in My divine nature. They worship Me with unwavering devotion, knowing Me as the eternal source of all beings.”

Commenatary:

Lord Krishna contrasts the mindset of the noble souls (mahātmas) with that of the deluded individuals mentioned in the previous verse. He emphasizes that the mahātmas, possessing higher spiritual qualities, seek refuge in His divine nature.

The term “daivi prakriti” refers to the divine or higher nature that is aligned with the spiritual realm. It represents qualities such as purity, wisdom, selflessness, compassion, and devotion. The mahātmas recognize and embrace this divine nature within themselves and in the world around them.

Lord Krishna states that the noble souls worship him with unwavering devotion, directing their thoughts, emotions, and actions towards him. Their devotion is characterized by a deep understanding and realization of his eternal and immutable nature. They perceive him as the unchanging and eternal source of all beings, recognizing his supreme authority and divine presence in everything.
