Sanjaya said, “Having thus been addressed by Arjuna, Hrishikesha placed the magnificent chariot between the two armies O Bharata.”
Commentary
Sanjaya, the narrator of the Bhagavad Gita, describes the response of Lord Krishna, who is addressed as Hrishikesha, the master of the senses, when spoken to by Arjuna.
Sanjaya describes that Krishna, in response to Arjuna’s words, positions the magnificent chariot in the middle of the battlefield, between the two opposing armies. This positioning of the chariot is significant because it grants Arjuna a clear view of the opposing army led by Duryodhana.
