Commentary:
Lord Krishna describes His benevolence towards those who are unwaveringly dedicated to Him and engage in loving devotion. He states that He grants them the wisdom and understanding that will lead them to Him.
The verse emphasizes the importance of sincere and continuous devotion to the Divine. The term “satatayuktanam” refers to those who are constantly engaged in devotional practices and maintain a deep connection with the Supreme. Their devotion is characterized by regularity, consistency, and wholeheartedness.
Lord Krishna assures that He reciprocates the love and devotion of such individuals by granting them “buddhiyogam” – the wisdom, insight, and understanding that enable them to progress on the spiritual path and ultimately attain Him. This wisdom includes knowledge of the self, the nature of reality, and the path to liberation.
By bestowing this special understanding, the Divine facilitates the spiritual journey of devoted seekers, guiding them closer to Himself. It is through this wisdom that they gain insight into their own true nature, the nature of the Supreme, and the means to attain union with the Divine.
This verse highlights the intimate relationship between the Divine and His devotees. It illustrates that sincere devotion and love for the Divine attract divine grace and assistance in the form of spiritual guidance and wisdom. The Supreme, out of His compassion and love, assists devotees in their spiritual evolution, drawing them closer to Him.
