Commentary:

Lord Krishna continues to reveal his divine manifestations. He identifies himself as the supreme deity behind various powerful entities and forces in the universe. By doing so, he emphasizes his all-encompassing nature and his presence in all aspects of creation.

Shankara: Lord Krishna declares himself as Shankara, another name for Lord Shiva, among the Rudras. Lord Shiva is known as the destroyer and the epitome of transcendental power. By identifying himself as Shankara, Lord Krishna indicates his connection with the destructive aspect of the divine.

Kubera: Lord Krishna reveals that he is Kubera, the god of wealth and prosperity, among the Yakshas and Rakshasas. Kubera is considered the treasurer of the gods and holds immense material wealth. By associating himself with Kubera, Lord Krishna signifies his supreme authority and control over all aspects of wealth and abundance.

Agni: Lord Krishna states that among the Vasus, he is Agni, the god of fire. Agni is a vital force in the universe and represents purification, transformation, and illumination. By identifying himself as Agni, Lord Krishna highlights his presence in the fiery energy that sustains life and enables change and evolution.

Meru: Lord Krishna declares himself as Meru, the king of mountains, among the mountains. Meru is a legendary mountain in Hindu mythology that is considered the axis mundi, the central point around which the universe revolves. By associating himself with Meru, Lord Krishna symbolizes his status as the supreme center and foundation of all creation.

Through these divine manifestations, Lord Krishna underscores his transcendental nature and omnipresence. He reminds Arjuna and all devotees of his limitless power, control, and influence over every aspect of existence.
