“I see gods, O God, in your body,
as well as all the different beings,
Arjuna expresses his observation of divine beings and various entities present within the body of Lord Krishna. Arjuna addresses Krishna as “Deva,” meaning “God” or “Divine Lord,” acknowledging Krishna’s divine nature. Arjuna describes the wondrous vision he beholds within Krishna’s form. He sees gods, celestial beings, and different forms of life that represent the entire range of beings in existence. Arjuna perceives the presence of Brahma, the creator of the universe, who is responsible for the manifestation of all beings. Arjuna sees “Munis,” the great sages and seers who have attained profound spiritual wisdom. These sages reside in divine realms and possess extraordinary spiritual knowledge. Arjuna sees Lord Brahma seated on lotus, Lord Shiva, all the sages and the celestial serpents. Arjuna’s observation emphasizes the divine glory and cosmic manifestation inherent in Krishna, affirming his faith and deepening his reverence for the Lord.
