Arjuna said:
In Your presence, O Hrishikesha (Krishna), the world rejoices and is filled with joy. The demons are fleeing in all directions, and the hosts of perfected beings bow down to You.
Commentary:
Arjuna expresses his realization of the divine presence and power of Lord Krishna. He acknowledges that Krishna is the controller of all senses and the master of the mind. Arjuna addresses Krishna as “Hrishikesha,” which means “the master of the senses” or “the controller of the senses.”
Arjuna observes that in the presence of Krishna, the entire world rejoices and experiences great delight. The divine aura and influence of Krishna spread happiness and upliftment among all living beings. The divine energy emanating from Krishna brings joy and hope to the hearts of people.
Arjuna further states that the demons, representing negative forces and evil tendencies, are fleeing in fear in all directions. The demonic qualities within individuals are subdued and overcome in the presence of Krishna’s divine power. The righteous forces are empowered, and the wicked forces are weakened.
Moreover, Arjuna notes that even the perfected beings, the sages and enlightened ones, bow down to Krishna in reverence. These perfected beings, known as the Siddhas, who have attained spiritual perfection, acknowledge Krishna’s supremacy and offer their salutations to Him.
