You are the supreme abode of this universe.
You know the known and the unknown,
By You, this entire universe is pervaded in its infinite forms.”
Arjuna acknowledges the divine qualities and transcendental nature of the Supreme Being. Viśhvasya paraṁ nidhānam: The supreme abode or the ultimate repository of the entire universe. It acknowledges that the Supreme Being is the ultimate refuge and support of the entire cosmos. Viśhvasya paraṁ nidhānam: You know the known and the unknown, the manifest and the unmanifest. This highlights the omniscience of the Supreme Being, who possesses complete knowledge of all things, both apparent and hidden. Viśhvam ananta-rūpa: By You, this entire universe is pervaded in its infinite forms. It recognizes that the Supreme Being is the immanent presence in all aspects of creation, existing in countless forms and manifestations. Through these words, Arjuna expresses reverence for the Supreme Being, acknowledging the divine qualities of omniscience, omnipresence, and eternity. It reflects the Arjuna’s understanding that the Supreme Being is the ultimate reality, the source of all existence, and the eternal abode where everything ultimately merges.
