“Having seen your unseen, wondrous form, I am delighted, yet my mind is troubled with fear. Please have mercy and show me that divine form once again, O Lord of the gods, O abode of the universe.”
Commentary
Arjuna reflects on the divine form of Krishna that he witnessed during the cosmic vision. He expresses his joy and astonishment at seeing the unseen and extraordinary form of Krishna, which transcends human comprehension.
However, along with the delight, Arjuna’s mind is also overwhelmed with fear and awe. The magnitude and grandeur of Krishna’s divine manifestation have shaken Arjuna’s consciousness and created a sense of reverence and trepidation within him.
Arjuna, recognizing Krishna as the Lord of the gods and the ultimate abode of the entire universe, requests Krishna to reveal that pleasing human form once again. He seeks Krishna’s grace and benevolence, asking Him to display His divine appearance again, which will help dispel his fears and provide him with solace and understanding.
Through this verse, Arjuna expresses his desire to witness Krishna’s divine form once again, to experience the overwhelming divinity and gain a deeper understanding of the cosmic reality. He seeks reassurance and guidance from Krishna, acknowledging Him as the divine source and the dwelling place of the entire universe.
