“My womb is the great Brahma, in which I place the seed. From that, O Arjuna, all beings are born.”

“Whatever forms manifest in all kinds of wombs, know them to have originated from Me. As Brahma, I am the seed-giving father, and the great womb of creation is the source of all manifestations.”

Commentary

Lord Krishna reveals the profound truth about the creation and sustenance of all beings. He states that His divine womb, representing the primordial cosmic energy or Mahad Brahma, is the source of all creation. He, as the Supreme Being, places the seed of life within this womb.

From the divine womb, all beings are born, encompassing the vast diversity of life forms. God, as the great Brahma, representing the cosmic intelligence, is the ultimate father who provides the womb for all life forms to manifest and evolve.

This verse elucidates the interconnectedness and unity of all living beings, as we all share a common origin in the divine energy of Brahma. It highlights the divine nature of creation and reinforces the understanding that every living being is inherently connected to the Supreme.

Lord Krishna’s words signify His role as the ultimate progenitor, the seed-giving father, who imparts the essence of life to all beings. He is the ultimate source of existence, providing the potential for life and evolution.
