Commentary

Lord Krishna states that those who, with a sense of devotion, disclose this profound and confidential knowledge to His devotees will undoubtedly attain union with Him. The term “supreme secret” refers to the profound truths and insights into the nature of reality, self-realization, and the path to liberation.

By sharing this knowledge with sincere devotees who have developed a deep sense of devotion (bhakti) towards the divine, one paves the way for them to attain the ultimate goal of union with the divine. It highlights the importance of both knowledge and devotion in the spiritual journey.

Lord Krishna assures that there is no doubt regarding the result. If one engages in selfless service, surrender, and a profound love for God (bhakti) while imparting this knowledge, they will eventually reach Him.

This verse underscores the significance of sharing spiritual wisdom with devout individuals and the rewards for doing so. It emphasizes the power of devotion (bhakti) as a means to attain union with the divine and reaffirms the path of selfless service and surrender as a way to reach the ultimate goal of spiritual realization.
