Although a man takes up a job voluntarily by choice, once he joins the workplace it is wise to follow the company mandates as laid out by the CEO. It is not prudent to find fault with the rules and regulations frequently, without first practising them. In a good company, one becomes eligible to talk with a CEO only after impressing the immediate manager with absolute loyalty, abiding by the company’s protocols.
Similarly it is wise to follow the mandates laid out by Lord Krishna, the universal CEO – Cosmic Executive Officer, who is the founder and manager-in-charge of this phenomenal world. As it is not easy to connect or commune with God directly, a Guru acts as an intermediary and shares the techniques for sadhana. After finding a true Guru and taking a pledge to follow his path, one should unquestionably and constantly abide by the teachings. Unlike the uncertainty of material efforts manifesting as success, proper spiritual sadhana, even if done as an experiment without devotion, gives slow but definite and incremental results. With devotion, the process is hastened and slowly one starts shifting identification from the gross, ugly, changing composition of flesh, bones and blood to the subtle, beautiful, electro-magnetic consciousness present everywhere. As the Divine CEO takes direct charge of the devotee’s life, the karmic body’s hold eventually vanishes.
