Commentary

God is infinite in His manifestations and He responds according to the approach taken by the devotee. The devotee may approach Him as a Protector, Punisher, Judge, Yogi, Friend, Father, Mother, King, Krishna, Rama, Ganesha, Allah, Christ, Tree, River, Sun, Moon, Intelligence, Energy, Wisdom or Love. Based on personal relationships, the devotee may pray to Him as a child with demands, a merchant trading for His blessing, a slave fearing Him as the punisher, an intellectual asking for His wisdom, a sufferer asking for His protection or a yogi asking for Him. In infinite ways, He can be approached. The devotee may offer fruits, flowers, food, work, habits, thoughts, love, gratitude, money, social service, appeasement through different types of worship or showers of praises.

God listens to every sincere prayer, receives all offerings and blesses everyone. The proportion of blessings received is in accordance to the intensity of prayer, scope of the prayer, offering and the extent of powers endowed to the specific personification to whom the devotee makes his supplication. Knowingly or unknowingly everyone in the world is evolving on the divine path.
