Commentary
A devotee can know God only by regular and consistent effort. Millions of people come to earth and experience life but very few know the reality. God has taken enormous pain and trouble to make sure that senses do not perceive the reality of our existence. He covered the shocking wonders of massive planets and stars that are floating around in a dark universe with clouds and hot tectonic plates beneath our feet with soil. With sincere and sustained effort, He hides His secrets of manufacturing fragrance in flowers, babies in wombs, love in our hearts and other infinite manifestations and activities. Therefore it is natural for Him to expect the same sincere effort from man if he wants to unravel the mysteries of life.
God is referring to His birth every second everywhere in every manifestation. He is taking birth in and as countless bodies, infinite thoughts, feelings and movements; stars, planets and universes within His infinite body of light.
By uniting with such a God, the realized devotee may take birth by choice but not due to karmic compulsion.
