“Those who worship the imperishable, unmanifest, omnipresent, unthinkable, unchanging, and eternal, with controlled senses and a balanced intellect, attain Me and work for the welfare of all beings.”

Commentary

Lord Krishna describes the characteristics of those who worship the unmanifest aspect of the Divine. The imperishable and unmanifest refer to the transcendental aspect of the Supreme, beyond the material manifestations. Those who worship this aspect understand its omnipresence, inconceivability, immutability, and stability. They have disciplined their senses and possess equanimity, perceiving the Divine in everything and everywhere. By dedicating themselves to the welfare of all beings, they attain union with the Divine. This emphasizes the importance of self-discipline, mental equipoise, and a compassionate approach in spiritual practice. Such seekers cultivate a deep connection with the Divine and serve the greater good of humanity.
