“Among these, the most elevated are the wise devotees who maintain a continuous and profound connection with Me through their devotion. I am very dear to them, and so they are to Me.”
Commentary: The Lord states that the wise individuals who are constantly united with Him in devotion stand out as the highest among the four categories. They have gained spiritual knowledge and have realized their oneness with the Supreme. Their devotion is characterized by a deep and unwavering connection with the Divine.
The relationship between the wise and the Divine is one of deep love and intimacy. This mutual love and affection are born out of their profound spiritual connection based on their permanent relationship as Creator and His children.
The wise individuals recognize the true nature of the Supreme, transcending the material appearances and illusions. They see the divine presence in everything and everyone, and their devotion is based on this higher perception and realization.
