“I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge, and the true friend. I am the origin, the dissolution, the resting place, the eternal seed.”
Commentary: Lord Krishna describes various aspects of His divine nature and relationship with all beings. He presents Himself as the ultimate goal and destination of all spiritual seekers. He is the one who supports and sustains everything in the universe. As the master, He has complete control and authority over all creation.
Lord Krishna also asserts that He is the witness of all actions and experiences. He is aware of everything happening in the universe and serves as the eternal observer. He is the abode, the dwelling place, where all beings find their ultimate shelter and refuge. He is the true friend who provides guidance, support, and companionship on the spiritual journey.
Furthermore, Lord Krishna states that he is the source of creation, the origin from which everything manifests. He is also the dissolution, the ultimate destination where everything merges back into him. He is the resting place, the eternal abode where all beings find their ultimate repose. He is the seed that holds the potential for infinite creation and sustenance, remaining imperishable and eternal.
