Verse 9-29

समोऽहं सर्वभूतेषु न मे द्वेष्योऽस्ति न प्रिय: |

ये भजन्ति तु मां भक्त्या मयि ते तेषु चाप्यहम् || 29 ||

“I am impartial towards all beings; I have no hatred or favoritism. But those who worship Me with devotion, they are in Me and I am in them.”

Commentary: Lord Krishna declares his impartiality towards all beings. He states that he harbors no hatred or bias towards anyone. As the Supreme Being, he transcends all dualities and treats every living being equally, without any prejudice or personal preference.

However, Lord Krishna further explains that those who worship him with devotion (bhakti) establish a special relationship with him. They develop a deep and intimate connection with the divine, and in turn, the divine presence manifests within them. It is a reciprocal relationship where the devotees reside in the divine consciousness, and the divine resides within them.

Lord Krishna’s statement signifies the all-encompassing nature of his divine love. He extends his grace and presence to all beings, but those who actively cultivate a loving relationship with him through devotion and worship receive a more profound experience of divine communion.
